Vegan Apple Bread

Gluten-free, savory and sweet, this delicious apple bread uses Kate Farms Renal Support for a nutritious boost.

Ingredients (makes 1 loaf or 8 servings):

  • 1/2 cup Kate Farms Renal Support 1.8

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 cup apples, diced small

  • 1/2 cup maple syrup

  • 1 and 1/2 cups gluten-free flour (sub: all-purpose flour)

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger

  • 3 tsp baking powder



Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350F and lightly grease a 9"x5" loaf pan.

2. In a large bowl add Kate Farms Renal Support, applesauce, diced apples, maple syrup, and vanilla, whisking until combined. In a separate bowl whisk together flour, cinnamon, ginger, and baking powder.

3. Slowly add dry ingredients into wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not over-mix as this will make the batter become gummy.

4. Pour batter into greased loaf pan and bake in the oven for 55-65 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean. Let cool for 1 hour before serving.
