Gregg Engles

Gregg was co-Founder, former Chairman and CEO of WhiteWave Food Company, a high-growth food and beverage company with sales of $4 billion across brands including Silk, So Delicious, Vega, Horizon, International Delight and Fresh Foods. WhiteWave was sold to Danone S.A. for $12.5B in 2017 under Engles’ leadership.Prior to WhiteWave, Gregg transformed Dean Foods, the largest processor and distributor of fluid milk in the United States, where he worked from 1993 to 2012, serving as Chairman and CEO from 2002-2012. He built Dean Foods through more than 100 transactions spanning 25 years, beginning with the acquisition of Reddy Ice from the Southland Corporation in 1988 for $25MM to a multibillion company. Gregg is currently the founder and Managing Partner of private equity investment firm Capitol Peak Partners based in Denver. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Dartmouth College and a law degree from Yale Law School. He began his business career in Dallas after serving as a clerk for Judge Anthony M. Kennedy on the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
